The Experience

An experience worth lingering over

Settle in for a guided tasting, or pour a glass on the patio with a wood-fired pizza and a board of local charcuterie. Twenty-two harvest tables, built so you can sit down and stay a while. Bring friends, bring family, bring the dog. We saved you a seat.

The Wine

Small batches, well made

Bright whites like our Pinot Grigio and Jack White, estate Icewine, a little sparkling for the good days, and reds with real personality, like Jack Rabbit Red, made for the everyday red wine drinker. All made in small lots. Not sure what you like yet? That is the fun part. We will help you find it.

Our Story

A family name, and a long way to Niagara

We started as O'Hara in Ireland. Then, due to the famine, the family moved to Scotland and became O'Hare. When my grandfather and his brother came to Canada, the O was dropped, and now we are just Hare. Scottish on my father's side, Bulgarian on my mother's, and both are poured into this place, right down to a wine I call Haretage. Every visit gives back, too: Grandma Hare's Scottish Shortbread Cookies fund Gillian's Place, a local women's shelter. I'm John, and I'm usually on the floor. Come say hi.
